Flower Essences.
I have always been drawn to Flower Essences, their gentle yet effectiveness has helped myself, my family and friends and many others through my pre-made or custom blends over the last 15 years.
Understanding how each of the 38 Bach flower essences helps a different emotional state can help create a custom blend for you or your loved ones.
Bach flower essences were created by Dr Edward Bach, a surgeon who made the connection between our emotions and physical symptoms - nervousness and "butterflies in your stomach". Used following WWII, Dr Bach created custom blends for people from a wide variety of backgrounds and trauma, helping them recover without side effects or dependency.
My blends are made to cover the common symptoms most people and their pets experience, but custom blends are always available and are part of my wellness plans following consultations.

Agrimony
Agrimony helps with hidden worries and stress.
The person that pretends that everything is fine.
Is useful for a person that feels pessimistic and doesn't like to ask for help.

Aspen
Aspen may help alleviate fears and anxieties that are difficult to describe.
This can be such as a nightmare an unsettled feeling.
Aspen helps with calm and relaxed thoughts, increasing confidence and reducing stress.

Beech
Beech is the essence for a person that struggles with their temper or has a habit of thinking negatively.
Helps with patience and thinking before speaking/acting, Beech is always one I add for a person that is critical of themselves a person that thinks they should be doing more or that they are failing in their attempts at change.

Centaury
Centaury is especially useful for a person who goes along with the majority or changes their actions to reflect others.
Helping with confidence following disappointment or failure in the past, Centaury is added to many of my children's blends to help with confidence in school.

Cerato
Cerato is helpful to increase confidence and trusting in your own judgment.
It is useful for adjusting to a new situation whether that is a new home for a pet, a new job for an adult or a new school for children.

Cherry Plum
An essence for people that feel they may lose mental control or feeling like they may harm themselves.
It helps to increase emotional endurance during stressful time.
Cherry Plum can help with calm, clear thoughts.

Chestnut Bud
Chestnut Bud is helpful for those who feel trapped, who make the same mistakes over and over.
Helping with reflection and is also known as a link breaker - meaning it helps to break habits such as smoking.

Chicory
Chicory is often called the children’s remedy; it helps with clingy behaviour or separation anxiety and is used in my pet blends.
Increases confidence in own abilities without relying on others to make decisions for them.

Clematis
Clematis is useful for those who struggle with poor attention span, dreaminess, feel apathetic during difficult times.
Useful for children having difficulty concentrating at school, Clematis can be added to drink bottles to help give support during the school day.

Crab Apple
Crab Apple helps with looking forward with a more positive attitude.
Calming anxious, cluttered thoughts, Crab Apple is useful when it is important to have a clear head.

Elm
Elm is one of my most used essences. It helps with feeling overwhelmed, when you are tense and feel like the walls are closing in.
Elm helps to take that breath that you've been unable to take, allowing relaxation and better ability to cope with stress.

Gentian
Gentian is for anyone struggling with a negative outlook on life, especially with overcoming previous obstacles.
Helping to increase confidence and focus, it is an essence I often recommend for children around exams or adults before an interview.

Gorse
Gorse is added to blends to help get through long term situations (illness/stress) when it feels like things are never going to change.
When the situation feels hopeless or that there is no reason to try and change, Gorse helps to have a more positive attitude to things and encourages change.

Heather
Heather is for those who dislike being alone and struggle with focusing on themselves.
Great for children who are clingy to parents or objects, Heather can be used to help encourage confidence in being alone or taking a chance.

Holly
Holly helps those struggling with feeling of envy, anger and frustration at their personal situation.
This is especially the case if it is leading to tempers or lack of understanding with others - frustration at stress and struggling to understand that others can feel the same.

Honeysuckle
I always feel that the best way to describe Honeysuckle is it is for those that look back so much they are unaware of what is in front of them.
Honeysuckle can help with homesickness and moving on from the past.
It is useful for children moving or going to new schools and adults wanting to let go of the previous hardships.

Hornbeam
If you're feeling mentally or physically exhausted, Hornbeam helps with mental energy and focus when times are hard.
Helpful for breaking through monotonous routines and times when it is hard to get up and motivated to start the day.

Impatients
Impatiens is for those experiencing irritability towards others, feeling tense and feeling anger or frustration.
This is often caused by waiting for others or things not going to plan. Impatients helps to increase tolerance and calm thoughts.

Larch
Larch is another of my favorites, helping with confidence makes this one I often add to a child's blend.
It helps boost determination and positivity, and is amazing for both children and adults who expect to fail or feel unable to cope with the pressure of upcoming challenges.

Mimulus
Mimulus helps with a KNOWN fear or worry. This can range from a fear of the dark in children or phobias in adults.
I often pair Mimulus with Aspen (UNKNOWN fears) as it helps cover general anxiety or worries while giving people the strength to overcome these.

Mustard
Mustard is reserved for those who are experiencing black depression and gloom.
It can be safely used alongside any medications as there are no recorded or know interactions between medications and flower essences.
Mustard can help with lifting feelings of hopelessness.

Oak
Oak is used for those that try to aim above what they are capable of achieving, for example, not resting following illness or injury.
It helps reduce the feeling of needing to reach perfection, both physically and mentally. Doing this it helps to be able to set more realistic goals and relax when needed.

Olive
Olive helps to combat exhaustion and mental fatigue.
It is useful for those who are experiencing burnout or struggling to find energy and motivation.
Olive can help support feelings of overall well-being and works well combined with Elm.

Pine
Pine is useful for feelings of guilt or self - criticism.
Pine helps to have the strength to move on from these feelings especially if they relate to a negative experience or a loss.

Red Chestnut
Used to ease excessive worries about loved ones. Red Chestnut is helpful when loved ones are ill or going through a stressful time.
This essence helps to put things into perspective, reducing stress and anxiety.

Rock Rose
One for the first aid kit, Rock Rose helps to reduce feelings of panic and fright.
It is also helpful for recovery from shock, whether it was experienced recently or in the past.
This essence is useful when there is a block preventing moving forward.

Rock Water
Rock Water helps with people that struggle with inflexibility and have a tendency to be too hard on themselves.
It helps with relaxation and gaining flexibility especially when plans or routines change.

Scleranthus
Scleranthus is perfect for helping people that are struggling with making decisions or doubting decisions they've already made.
It helps to increase confidence in both the previous and future decisions and following through with them.

Star of Bethlehem
Star of Bethlehem helps to reduce the lingering effects of a traumatic experience.
It works well with Rock Rose for people that have had a shock or fright and feel shaky afterward.

Sweet Chestnut
This essence is for those who feel they are at the limit of mental endurance and cannot see an end.
For people that hide their stress and feel isolated.
This essence is one of few that is normally taken on its own acutely until a relief is felt.

Vervain
Vervain helps with overcoming mental strain and tension.
Helping to set more realistic goals and relax with calm thoughts and aids in switching off.

Vine
Vine Is useful for those with a overpowering, dominant personality.
It helps encourage a willingness to listen to others, considering their thoughts and opinions with an open mind.

Walnut
Walnut is known as the link - breaker, it helps to make new changes and continue towards goals.
It is an essence I like to include in any blend created to support someone that is breaking free from addiction or bad habits.

Water Violet
Water Violet is helpful for those with difficulty being around crowds.
This can extend to being uncomfortable meeting new people or going into situations where there may be new people.
It helps to relax around others and boosting confidence.

White Chestnut
White Chestnut, alongside Elm is my most used essence. It is one that I will always turn to for a wide range of emotional needs.
It helps to calm the mind and prevent negative thoughts, especially when lying awake at night unable to switch off or worrying about a negative outcome.

Wild Oat
Wild Oat is used for helping with clarity when struggling with indecision.
It is also helpful for wanting to make significant changes to change your life's course.

Wild Rose
Wild Rose helps to increase motivation and to have a more positive outlook.
This can be useful during challenging times such as illness or changes in lifestyle.
With more positive thinking and motivation, Wild Rose helps through hard times.

Willow
Last but not least is Willow. Willow helps with reducing envious thoughts or resentment towards others and situations in the past or present.
Being able to let go of negative emotions can help with moving on and to a better future.
